It’s December, and the Holiday season is upon us. As we approach the turn of the year, we want to send our warmest wishes and our thanks for a wonderful year in 2019.
Once again – this year, we have chosen to make donations to two charities that we feel share our values instead of sending traditional cards and client gifts.
The Charité hospital in Berlin is the largest university hospital in Europe, and has a number of highly specialized centers focussed on treating patients with unmet need. Over the years, Inceptua has been sponsoring with donations, and this year, in collaboration with the Charité, Inceptua decided to further donate a complete video system to the special department – the Charité’s Child Protection Ambulance. The Child Protection Ambulance takes care of children who have experienced mental or physical violence, and the video system is critical for the hospital’s daily operations when they interview the children in order to document the violations they have experienced.
Secondly, our support goes to L’Associazione per l’aiuto medico al Centro America, or AMCA, a Swiss-based charity which supports public health initiatives in developing countries, particularly central America. Sponsoring training for local medical professionals, and helping to develop local healthcare and education facilities are key areas of focus for the AMCA, and have significant positive impact on the communities they work with.
Both the Charité and the AMCA provide support which ultimately provides invaluable support to patients and their families, and we are delighted to be continuing our support of the remarkable work of both charities.
